What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banking Solutions Supervisor position at MARION CENTER BANK?
Responsible for directly supervising the Banking Solution Representative(s) and Banking Solution Specialist(s) in order to provide efficient and accurate paying and receiving services; performing Banking Solution duties; participating with the Branch Manager in establishing specific goals for assigned staff; ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures; communicating with appropriate personnel; providing periodic reports.
Directly supervises and acts as a role model for the Banking Solutions Representative(s) and the Banking Solutions Specialist(s) in order to provide efficient and accurate paying and receiving services as follows:
- Ensures that the Banking Solutions Representative(s) and the Banking Solutions Specialist(s) staff are providing complete paying and receiving services to customers.
- Ensures that all paying and receiving, balancing, and operational activities are done efficiently and according to policy; this includes the activities of Teller personnel, ATM services, and other paying and receiving activities.
- Ensures that the Banking Solutions Representative(s) and the Banking Solutions Specialist(s) works as part of the customer service team and that they take advantage of new business referral opportunities.
- Ensures the coordination of work, i.e., makes certain that the work of the Banking Solutions Representative(s) and the Banking Solutions Specialist(s) is coordinated with other positions in the office, with centralized operations personnel, and other Bank departments.
- Conducts staff meetings on a regular basis.
- Ensures the preparation of various related reports as assigned by the Branch Manager.
- Makes certain that the staff has an adequate supply of cash to conduct business; maintains level of cash according to approved cash management policies.
- Balances and maintains currency and coin.
- Orders all currency and coin for the office; ships extra money.
- Maintains cash management records.
- Balances vault cash each day for the office; ensures daily branch balancing.
- Manages safe deposit box activity, including the opening, entry, and closure of boxes, as well as the re-keying or drilling of boxes.
- Observes suspicious behavior and reports such activity to supervisor or other management personnel.
- Conducts security alarm testing to ensure proper operation.
- Opens and closes all types of customer deposit accounts; properly explains disclosures.
- May accept loan applications and provide quotes.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
