We are looking for a Kitchen Manager at Market Street Grill and Oyster Bar. This position will be to fill an opening at any one of our 3 Market Street Grill locations (Downtown, Cottonwood Heights, or South Jordan).

Immediate opening for Kitchen Manager at Salt Lake City, Utah’s premier seafood restaurant company.

Requirement and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience and:

• The ability to function well in a high volume kitchen and work in a key line position during peak hours

• The ability to interview, hire, train and direct kitchen and service staff

• The ability to produce work of high quality and to our core menu specifications, along with some seasonal menu development

• The ability to manage inventory and order product

• Advanced food safety knowledge

• The ability to obtain pre-determined results, including working within the guidelines of a budget and understanding a financial statement

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, professional appearance and demeanor, and the ability to work well within an overall restaurant team, including both front and back of house

• Good computer skills and overall restaurant knowledge

Salary/Benefits/Perks:

Salary can be negotiable based on experience and includes paid vacation, low cost health insurance for you and dependent family members (takes effect the month after hire), an HSA, allowance for dining in off hours, matching 401K (after 1 year) and other benefits. Front of house experience a plus.
