We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with a strong background in Data Modeling and expertise in Snowflake to join our team supporting Jefferies. This role requires a self-starter who can own the architecture and design for the entire system and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of UI flows pre- and post-Jefferies' Accounts Payable (AP) system.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and Design Ownership:
- Lead the end-to-end data architecture and design for the Accounts Payable system implementation and integration.
- Define and implement best practices for data modeling and data management.
- System Integration:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design seamless UI flows around the PeopleSoft/AP module.
- Ensure the architecture supports the business processes and workflows efficiently, including pre- and post-payment flows, invoice processing, and ledger reconciliation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient data architecture solutions.
- Domain Expertise:
- Drive discussions on workflows related to Accounts Payable systems and financial processes, including payment flows, cash flow, accruals, amortization, and invoice processing.
- Provide technical leadership in the Capital Markets domain, aligning data solutions with business needs.
- Snowflake Expertise:
- Utilize Snowflake to design and optimize scalable data solutions, ensuring integration with other enterprise systems.
- Data Modeling: Advanced experience in designing and implementing data models.
- Snowflake Expertise: Proven ability to architect and manage solutions using Snowflake.
- Accounts Payable/Financial Systems: Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and workflows, including:
- Payment flows
- Invoice processing
- Ledgers and reconciliations
- Cash flow management
- Amortization and accruals
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead discussions, own architecture, and design decisions, and drive business conversations.
- Capital Markets Knowledge: Familiarity with Capital Markets workflows and data requirements.
- Experience with PeopleSoft AP module.
- Background in financial system architecture and enterprise payment systems.
- Proven success in delivering scalable and robust data architecture in a fast-paced environment.
