Role Summary:
We are in search of an experienced Facilities and Ground Support Equipment Manager to join our team here at Marshall USA. This role directly reports to the Head of Operational Mobilization.
This Facilities and Ground Support Services Manager is a hybrid role to support, at a very hands on level, the initial and ongoing enablement of the facility across the whole range of services within the building. From initial hand over to developing along with the Operational Mobilization lead a safe and secure working environment ready for operational staff and visitors.
The main purpose of the position is to ensure good working order of the facility at all times to allow a safe, legal and comfortable working environment for those working in the Marshall USA facility.
During the early months of the site, we will also require the Facilities role holder to set up the Stores and ground support equipment areas. Mobilizing the areas ready to accept early receipt of equipment and parts. This is intended to be a temporary responsibility, until the activities command full time support.

Your responsibilities in this role:
- The initial mobilization of the facility will require close collaboration with the Head of Operational Mobilization during the hand over periods with the turn key provider and various external stakeholders.
- Understand all the services, utilities and site layouts in detail along with the stakeholder providers responsible and warranties associated to the services.
- Provide local and also regulatory knowledge of legal requirements.
- Responsible for Local management of the subcontracted security team across the site.
- Develop safe working procedures and risk assessments along with the Base Operations Manager.
- Accountable for local management of the subcontracted security team across the site.

- Buildings, Construction, Engineering or Facilities Management related training to post graduate level (or demonstrable experience of working at this level).
- 5 years’ experience within a Facilities Management role.
- Engineering maintenance and / or Facilities management background.
- Experience of the Security industry including Physical Security management
- Record of continued professional development in the form of updated technical training, proactive leadership development and project management training.
- Great interpersonal skills to ensure inclusivity, communication and motivation for your direct reports.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulation and compliance
- Good technical understanding of FM and manufacturing technologies
- Strong Contract management and commercial acumen
- Full suite of computer skills
- Recognized H&S qualification by examination
- Recognized Environmental qualification by examination (e.g. IEMA Certificate) is highly desirable.
