Job Description

The Construction Administrator will be responsible for preparing subcontracts, purchasing, coordinating project scheduling, cost tracking and other administrative tasks. Support the project manager by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, phone calls, etc.

Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion also necessary

Must be reliable, self-directed and capable of working independently, with the ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously and use sound judgment in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

Primary Responsibility

Responsible for establishing and maintaining all files related to the Project

Track and process drawings, bids, contractor agreements, submittals, RFP's, etc.

Provide information and generate reports for the Project Manager

Communication with subcontractors, owners, and project team members

The Successful Applicant

5 Year’s Experience in construction administration

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary

Team Player Attitude

Detail oriented with the ability to multitask while staying organized

Strong technical and procedural abilities

Microsoft Office skills a must, with strong skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

Strong verbal and written communications skills required

Self-motivated and driven

Physical Requirements

Required to sit, stand and wall
