Mashpee Public Schools is looking for an ELE Tutor for Kenneth C. Coombs School (PK-2) and Quashnet School (3-5) for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom. The ELE Tutor works collaboratively with classroom teachers and the building ELE teacher(s) to support learning for English Learners.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Reinforcing classroom instruction
- Re-teaching skills
- Assisting the classroom teacher in modifying and differentiating instruction for ELs
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Must be able to work on-site
- Bachelor’s Degree or above or equivalent work/military experience
- Exhibits the values of Mashpee Public Schools
- Works flexibly in a changing environment
Job Requirements:
DESE Licensed in English as a Second Language, PreK-6
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
- Cori and fingerprint clearance are required
Hours: 5-10 hours per week
Salary: $40/hr
