Overview Under minimal supervision, incumbent will transport product safely and efficiently including raw materials, supplies and finished product. Reads orders, gathers materials/doors manually or with forklift; sorts for proper stacking; applies place cards/ stages for truck loading. What you will do: Timely and Accurate picking of slabs, frames, jams, and other door components from the warehouse per customer orders. Read and interpret production tickets and/or labels. Maintain accurate inventory of supplies through utilization of handheld scanner when physically moving materials. Report inconsistencies to the team lead and/or manager. Stage completed and prepared pallets of product into shipping staging lanes by loads. Must have knowledge of how to safely drive and operate a motorized forklift; Must adhere to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines. Complete daily forklift inspections and report issues to supervisor as needed. Continually checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; Use best judgement to resolve identified problems and alerts lead/ supervisor to issues as needed. Replenishment of warehouse locations. Responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work area throughout shift. Required to complete a final clean up prior to leaving at end of shift. What you will need: Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting HS Diploma or GED preferred Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Able to read and communicate clearly in English Prior experience with driving a forklift Ability to at least to 50lbs and on occasion push/pull 100lbs, also to sit, kneel and stoop.
