JOB SUMMARY
Matheson specializes in themanufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Matheson maintains a reliable network of dry ice distribution facilitieslocated strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distributionnetwork ensures that Matheson can quickly react to customers' needs.
Matheson is looking for a MAINTENANCETECHNICIAN. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for providingsupport to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
Starting Wage : / hour depending onexperience. A Maintenance Exam will be administered to determine level ofpay.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
High School Diploma or GED required.
2-year technical degree or any otherrelated certifications or training is a plus
Minimum of 4 years of maintenanceexperience within manufacturing environment (preferably within extrusions orcompressions environments with hydraulic / pneumatic equipment)
Experience with hydraulics, screwcompressors, mechanics, electrical systems and troubleshooting PLC'sExperience with robotics a plus.
Experience with large ammoniarefrigeration systems a plus.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climbstairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces in and around machinery.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen,employment history verification, and background check.
A Maintenance Skill Level Exam will beadministered to determine pay level.
