Job Title: In-Center Lead Instructor
Formal Title: Mathnasium Instructor
Position Summary:
The Mathnasium Instructor is responsible for all aspects of program success and training instructors and reports directly to the Center owner and Center Director. You will train extensively in the Mathnasium Method of instruction. The Instructor is committed to providing exceptional customer service through an expert approach that is personal and prescriptive, attending to each individual student’s needs. The Instructors builds students’ confidence and self-esteem through successful encounters and interactions with carefully selected materials. The Instructors works as part of a team and operates in a Team Teaching environment where collaboration and communication ensure all student needs are addressed. The Mathnasium LI is the pivot point of Mathnasium’s customer service by delivering exceptional math instruction for students.
Instructor Role: Enthusiasm Energy Proactive Engagement and Love to Lead
· Ensure Right Instruction through Mathnasium methodology and terminology, using prescribed teaching practices.
· Actively encourage, motivate, and engage with students during the instructional session.
· Evaluate and document student progress.
· Correct student work and provide positive constructive feedback.
· Maintain student attention and re-engage distracted students.
· Manage student behavior to create a positive environment that optimizes learning.
· Communicate student needs to center leadership and to instructional staff in a team-teaching environment.
· Instructor is responsible to maintain and ensure that all non-teaching tasks, which may include business administration, curriculum preparation, or other duties as assigned by the Center Director.'

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Proven experience in tutoring and teaching
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience in curriculum development and learning technology
- Ability to work with children and adults
- Familiarity with special education practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in early childhood education or relevant field
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
