This full-time role involves delivering exceptional healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families, ensuring a high standard of care in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nurse practitioner services, including health screenings, routine and acute care, immunizations, and patient counseling.
- Provide mentorship to staff and lead evidence-based educational sessions, contributing to in-service training initiatives.
- Accurately diagnose and treat patients suffering from common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor injuries, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Advocate for preventive healthcare and health maintenance through annual examinations and guidance on promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and achieve organizational objectives.
- Implement universal precautions and isolation protocols as necessary during patient interactions.
- Participate in staff meetings for case discussions, continuous education, and quality improvement efforts.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor and instruct staff effectively.
- Proficiency in employing evidence-based practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A Master's degree in nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
- Current certifications in BLS (Healthcare Providers), ACLS, and PALS.
- Experience as necessary to meet clinical competency standards per Service-specific credentialing requirements.
- Active DEA certification for controlled substances within the state of licensure.

Compensation And Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $65.00/hr.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with shifts varying from 8.5 to 11 hours (including a 30-to-60-minute uncompensated lunch). Saturday shifts may be required, consisting of an 8.5-hour duration and a 30-minute lunch break.
