We are looking for a talented CAD Designer with a strong foundation in computer-aided design (CAD) and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. This position will involve creating detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and schematics, as well as preparing and optimizing files for print production. The ideal candidate will be able to merge their CAD skills with basic Adobe design techniques to ensure files are print-ready and meet the necessary specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for a variety of projects, using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or other relevant CAD software.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to refine designs and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Prepare files for printing by converting CAD designs into print-ready formats and ensuring all elements meet print specifications (e.g., resolution, color modes, bleed, and margins).
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to modify and adjust designs as needed for print production.
- Optimize images and artwork for print, ensuring accurate color reproduction and clarity.
- Review final designs and layouts for accuracy and completeness before sending to the print or production team.
- Work closely with printers or manufacturing teams to ensure files meet all technical requirements for production.
- Organize and maintain CAD files and related assets in a digital library.
- Provide support in troubleshooting design issues related to file formats, quality, and compatibility with printing equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with CAD design techniques, Adobe Suite updates, and print production trends.
