Position Overview:
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality assurance in welding?
We are seeking a highly qualified Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our dynamic team. As a CWI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our welding processes and products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough visual and non-destructive inspections of welds to identify and document defects.
- Verify compliance with welding codes, standards, and specifications.
- Review and approve welding procedures and plans.
- Monitor welding operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to address quality issues.

Utilizes hands skillfully and coordinatively for grasping, manipulating objects, and executing small, precise movements. Able to work in fluctuating temperatures, in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and in heights at or above 8 feet. Can work in an environment with permissible noise exposure up to 90 dBA.
· Excellent Attendance and Punctuality: Demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure consistent presence and on-time performance.
Qualifications:
- Valid CWI certification from a recognized certifying body.
- Proven experience in welding inspection, preferably in the [industry] sector.
- Strong knowledge of welding principles, techniques, and quality control methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
