Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our team. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of underground pipelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. If you have experience in heavy equipment operation and are skilled in concrete forming and finishing, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operate backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment to excavate and prepare trenches for pipeline installation
- Dig trenches manually when necessary
- Use pipe lasers to ensure accurate alignment and grade of pipes
- Install pipes according to blueprints and specifications
- Assist with bulldozing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role
- Proficient in operating backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with pipe lasers for accurate pipe alignment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints and specifications
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
