Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Interpretation: Demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and apply construction plans and blueprints accurately.
- Project Planning: Utilize Microsoft Project to develop and maintain a precise 3-week look-ahead schedule that ensures smooth project progression.
- Resource Coordination: Effectively schedule and manage subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
- Quality Control: Actively participate in quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and efficient communication with the project team, addressing ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals promptly.
- Compliance Management: Ensure that subcontractors adhere to their contractual obligations and industry regulations.
- Local Jurisdiction Liaison: Coordinate and schedule essential inspections with local authorities to maintain compliance.
- Safety and Environmental Standards: Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards on-site.
- Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or deviations from project plans in collaboration with the project team.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity logs using Procore.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage supplies and materials to prevent loss and ensure timely procurement.
- Team Coordination: Lead weekly meetings with subcontractors to promote teamwork, alignment, and project cohesion.
- Site Management: Ensure the construction site remains safe, clean, and organized at all times.
