Job Title: Online Enrollment Specialist-LRSC

Location: Devils Lake, ND, on the Lake Region State College Campus

Compensation: Hiring Range - $36,460 - $46,752 - dependent on experience

Position Information: This position is located on the Lake Region State College campus in Devils Lake, ND. The position includes the following: assist distance and online students with the completion of off campus and online program degree requirements and procedures through focused academic advising, provide direct support services for students enrolled in off campus and online programs, promote off campus and online programs and recruit students through local and regional travel to recruitment events, maintain communication with the main MSU campus and includes occasional travel to the MSU campus. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the admissions process and advise students in the LRSC region, and elsewhere and online as needed, pursuing off campus and online programs degrees and maintain advising folders.
• Assist distance and online students with student support services and tutoring and other academic support services.
• Staff college fairs, conduct high school visits, conduct in-person and virtual visits with prospective students, monitor and work with the CRM, establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community colleges, community agencies and business.
• Attend transfer fairs in the region and throughout the state, do community college visits and work on relationship building with stakeholders, work with transfer students coming from community and tribal colleges.
• Contact local businesses/employers and others to promote the off campus and online degree programs in the Devils Lake and Lake Region area; coordinate Mayville State displays at community events In the Lake Region area; organize, open houses, graduation recognition events and other promotional activities in the Lake Region area.
• Assist in other duties as assigned and qualified.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Experience in program development and management
• Experience advising students
• Experience in an educational setting, with emphasis on academic and student support services
• Marketing and recruiting experience
• Occasional travel is required
• Valid ND Driver's License, or ability to obtain one within the first week of employment
