Responsibilities
Resource Coordinators perform a variety of administrative-related activities to support management and various business functions throughout the organization. Individual responsibilities will vary by direct report, department, or nature of the work for the associates being supported. In addition to traditional office and phone support, associates may lead and/or participate in a variety of special projects, dispatch maintenance work orders, review contractual agreements, and prepare various forms of correspondence specifically related to the real estate industry.
Dispatcher
Dispatchers answer, log, respond to, and route tenant phone calls as appropriate. They dispatch tenant work requests and delegate work activities through the company's computerized work order and preventive maintenance system. They inform management of any emergency or critical situations. Dispatchers receive and log all operational-related deliveries. They monitor and respond to fire and smoke alarms by notifying the proper personnel and coordinating communications for emergency responses to disasters. Dispatchers coordinate with outside vendors for services to be rendered and ensure appropriate security access is assigned, set up, and granted upon arrival. They also have accountability for pager administration for the company's internal operations staff.
Hours Mon- Fri, 9 AM- 6 PM Some Overtime required
Qualifications
Entry Qualifications define education and work experience requirements for selection into the jobs described in the profile. Optimal requirements describe preferred education and work experience.
Minimal: High school diploma or equivalent; demonstrated aptitude for heavy phone support and customer service.
Optimal: Post-secondary education; 3 years dispatch, receptionist, or heavy phone support experience supporting activity in the real estate management industry.
Work Conditions
· May be required to work outside of normally scheduled hours as mandated by the client, project, and/or workload (e.g., evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
· Work may be sedentary, or desk bound up to 95 percent of the time
· Computer usage may be required up to 95 percent of the time and may include heavy periods of keyboarding, repetitive motion, and/or eye strain
· Phone usage may be required up to 95 percent of the lime and may require the use of a headset
· May be required to stay within work area for extended periods of time (e.g., phone coverage, etc.)
· May spend up to 25 percent of lime performing clerical duties such as coping, filing, etc.
· May be required to lift. carry, and/or move equipment/supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
· May be exposed to confidential information. Confidentiality is expected to be upheld and if broken could result in disciplinary action and/or termination
· Travel between buildings and various locations may be required (e.g., walking, driving)
· Travel may be required but typically less than 1 percent of the time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
