Job Overview
Private practice mental health agency is seeking additional dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients of various ages with diagnosis such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and Bi-polar Disorder. We do not typically treat the chronically mentally ill as we feel they get better care with wrap-around-services at their local community health center. This is an outpatient setting. Flexible hours and days. Never work on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Never On-call.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients to determine mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide medication management for patients with psychiatric disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize electronic health record systems documentation.
