Summary: The primary purpose of the job is to receive, store and distribute materials, tools and equipment for the company. McCann Industries, Inc. is committed to the highest safety standards. The responsibilities of theposition include compliance with all company and government regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (additional duties may be assigned)

Move and/or distribute items based on customer orders, DPO’s, rental contracts, shipping orders or requisitions

Move material and equipment from receiving or production area to storage or other designated areas

Operate fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient manner to fulfill specific customer orders or internal usage

Maintain all materials and equipment in an organized manner on racks, shelves, bins, etc. according to predetermined sequence -- size, type, style, color, and code; ensure rotation of date sensitive materials.

Date and record necessary information for items received or distributed; occasionally deliver or pick up items at customer, vendor, or other branch; enact all safety issues when operating forklift, order picker, heavy/light equipment, and fabricator

Open and close the Yard and Warehouse; computer literacy to enter records, received and transferred items, and update bin locations and movement

Fill pick tickets, transfers, work orders, DPO’s, request for materials, tools, equipment, and stock items; fill in for other warehouseman or drivers at other locations when necessary

Ddistribute items to customers and co-workers for production; perform housekeeping duties to maintain warehouse and yard in a neat and orderly fashion.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience
- CDL license preferred!!
- Basic written and oral communication skills
- Basic reading and comprehensive skills
- Basic mathematic skills-addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- General day-to-day, common sense problem solving.
