What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Assistant position at MCEC?
Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth or families, be able to complete basic office tasks, and be comfortable collaborating with community agencies. The Intake Assistant will help process referrals for multiple programs of the Mediation Center in Wilson County. This position requires interaction with youth, parents/guardians, and community partners. Some duties include processing referrals, scheduling intake appointments, identifying community service opportunities, monitoring youth activities, and participating in outreach events. Duties may include assisting with youth court hearings/circles and Life Skills classes on an as needed basis. The Intake Assistant will also be required to complete Mediation and Restorative Practices Training. Candidates must be professional, organized, and team-oriented yet able to work independently. This position will work out of our Wilson office with travel to nearby counties occasionally required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
