Job Summary
The tire technician will provide exceptional customer service while performing tire repairs and replacements, as well as general vehicle maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to customer needs for basic maintenance services, tire repair or replacement in shop.
- Repair or replace tires on automotive vehicles.
- Drive vehicles into the shop as needed.
- Clean up after every job.
- Dispose of tires correctly in a trailer.
- Change oil on customer vehicles.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year prior automotive tire repair/replacement experience is preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Possess a current Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance using special tools and equipment.
- Ability to push, lift, move tires as needed.
- Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships.
Physical Demands & Safety Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting, twisting, reaching, and grasping.
