Summary:
The position of Analyst –Agency/Policy Systems is responsible for providing critical support to the Director of Acquisitions related to acquisitions and start up activities for new insurance programs. They will become an expert on using McGowan’s agency management and/or policy administration systems and will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, accuracy and archiving the following: applications, quotes, policies, endorsements, billing and physical invoices. In this role, attention to detail and a strong customer service focus is essential. The position reports to the Director of Acquisitions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Participate with a cross functional due diligence teams to review and document customer/policy processes and procedures during due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
· Oversee and handle day-to-day servicing and/or billing for recently acquired insurance agencies under the direction of the Director of Acquisitions.
· Interact with Operations and Accounting departments to ensure that accounts and policies are entered into the system of record in an accurate and timely fashion.
· Help newly acquired agencies process and service renewal and new business accounts until permanent staffing can be hired and trained.
· Help create, document and implement new processes and procedures for newly acquired agencies.
· Collect and maintain in the virtual insurance file all relevant documentation including applications, quotes, binders, policies, invoices, policy changes, and correspondence.
· Communicate with policyholders and carriers via email and telephone under the direction of the Director of Acquisition, Account Managers or Producers.
· Ability to manage projects, take notes at meetings and multitask.
· Other duties, projects, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Strong computer skills and expertise with Microsoft Office 365 (Word and Excel).
· Strong keyboarding skills.
· 2 years’ experience in insurance environment (preferred).
· Previous experience working as a client service representative (preferred).
· In-depth knowledge of insurance products and policy lines.
· Experience with Applied EPIC (preferred).
· Active P&C license (preferred).

Schedule: 8:15am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
