Summary:

The Renewal Broker’s primary responsibility is to manage the renewal process for existing insurance policies. They will work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to ensure a smooth renewal process while maximizing retention rates and maintaining client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Other duties, projects, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned. Production position that provides support to underwriters and brokers.
• Issue binders and misc. forms.
• Prepare statement of values and loss analysis.
• Invoicing.
• General correspondence with brokers and carriers including but not limited to ordering loss runs and requesting renewal information.
• Pending follow up on specific account issues.
• Insurance policy issuance and endorsement issuance for binding authority companies.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with brokers to add to a profitable book of business.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with the carriers.
• Recognize and create cross sell opportunities for other products.
• Ability to travel to broker, carrier, and employer meetings.
• Maintain PA Producer and PA Surplus Lines licenses.
• Other duties, projects, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1 year commercial Insurance experience (Preferred).
• P&C License (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week.

Schedule: 8:15am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
