Job Summary
A One Ton Driver is responsible for delivering carious items to destinations
Reports to
Resource Manager and Resource Coordinator
Key Communication Partners
Resource, Operations, and Office Staff
Typical Duties
- Perform routine pre-trip vehicle safety inspection in accordance with company policy
- Ensure inventory accuracy for all deliveries and returns
- Secure materials and equipment for delivery
- Report any mechanical issues of vehicles or equipment
- Assist field personnel with loading and unloading deliveries for returns
- Assist in organizing and cleaning the yard to ensure retrieval of materials and overall cleanliness of the yard
- Clean and organize company vehicle weekly or as needed
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner when dealing with field personnel and vendors
- Perform facility maintenance and repairs as directed by the Resource Manager
- All other duties as assigned
- Ability to life 60lbs, kneel, bend, and twist as needed.
- Think Safety-First and participate in the “Safety Bucks” Program
Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred and general knowledge of small tool and how they are used
Language Skills: ability to converse in English and Spanish is preferred
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out multiple step instructions. Deal with standardize situations with occasional variables
Certificates, Licenses, and Registration: CA driver’s license and a clean driving record, Forklift Certified

Compensation:
$17 - $22/hr, based on skills, experience, and knowledge
