We are looking for hardworking individuals with an interest in working as a Day Cleaner in Point Comfort, Texas. Several positions available.
Pay Rate: $14.00 Per hour
Available Schedules:
Pay Rate: $14.00 Per hour
Available Schedules:
- Monday – Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Monday- Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Monday - Friday, Part-time is available upon request
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass English safety training course in English therefore must be able to read and speak in English
- Must be a US citizen or a US resident (no work permits accepted for this job)
- Criminal background check
- Hair follicle drug screen
- TWIC card (assistance offered if needed)
- Safety shoes are not required but recommended
Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean buildings by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces as assigned.
- Monitor building’s security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
- Properly use cleaning solutions and chemicals to remove stains and clean surfaces.
- Use approved cleaning solutions with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture and scrub surface clean.
- Clean and service restrooms with mops and proper disinfectants.
- Arrive on time for the shift as scheduled and complete all work in the allotted time.
- Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained.
- Cross-train on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor.
Full-time employees are eligible for medical and dental benefits the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
