EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON GRANT FUNDING
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION :
To work with adult learners in the areas of English Language Acquisition (ELA) and GED (General Education Development) Preparation. Our program services the following counties : Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone & McLennan. These positions are part-time, temporary, and filled on an as-needed basis.
- Employee may not work more than 19.5 hours per week.
NOTE : This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard / Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
BENEFITS :
Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
QUALIFICATIONS :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Preference will be given to candidates with Teacher's Credentials.
