McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-time Nurse Manager to work for its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs in Gastonia and Monroe.

How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including but not limited to, staffing (e.g., hiring, onboarding, training, and development of nursing staff), program growth (e.g., identifying objectives, establishing goals, and evaluating outcomes), and patient safety by promoting excellent patient care.
  • Organize services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach throughout the continuum of care; assume responsibility for the nursing performance of the program.
  • Provide clear expectations, education, direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Work as a staff nurse, as needed, to ensure staffing coverage.
  • Act as a liaison for the unit(s) and provide physicians, families, and ancillary departments with direction and/or assistance as needed.
  • Support and interpret policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the organization.
  • Establish and develop ongoing quality/performance improvement processes and procedures related to client care.
  • Maintain and oversee required competencies, licensure, and certification for self and all nurses within the program.
  • Use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships with team members.
  • Complete performance evaluation for self and employees and implement a plan of correction when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and record keeping, as required.

What are the qualifications needed for this role?
We're looking for an Associate’s degree or higher (Bachelor’s preferred), with 3 or more years of experience in leadership. You must be licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an RN (or license has multi-state practice privileges by the authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact).
