Job Description:
We are currently seeking reliable and vigilant individuals to join our team as Weekend Door Security Personnel at Fassler Hall/Dust Bowl. As a member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patrons in a friendly and professional manner upon entry.
- Verify the age and identification of patrons to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Monitor the crowd for any signs of unruly behavior or potential security threats.
- Enforce bar policies and regulations, including dress code and behavior standards.
- Manage entry and exit points to prevent overcrowding and maintain security.
- Handle any conflicts or disturbances calmly and effectively, utilizing conflict resolution techniques when necessary.
- Work closely with bar staff and management to address any security concerns or issues.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise.
- Maintain a visible presence at the door to deter misconduct and promote a sense of security among patrons.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
