Employment Type: Full time Shift: Evening Shift Description: Job Title: Food Service Operations Rep Employment Type: Full Time Shift: Rotating (SUMMARY) Position Highlights: Competitive salary Benefits – Medical, Dental & Vision, PTO, Free Parking, Metro Access, Tuition Reimbursement, 403(b) Quality of Life: Flexible work schedules Advancement: Career growth opportunities Location: Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD Description: Full Time - Rotating Shift Schedule with an every other weekend commitment Location: Germantown, MD Food Services Department Reports to Food Service Supervisor, Patient Service Manager, Food Servicer Director Responsibilities: Assembles, prepares, serves, and delivers trays, meals, and nourishments to patients, floors and other customers or clients. Attends to patient, nursing and/or other customer food service and related requests, needs or requirements in a friendly, cheerful, patient and customer-focused manner. Collects trays and other items for transport to Food Service. Assists in the sanitation of the entirety of the department including, but not limited to pots, dish room, trash, floors and special cleaning as assigned. Performs all other duties as assigned. What you will need: Required: Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and courteously via telephone, in person or in writing. Ability to read, comprehend and write simple and moderately complex instructions, correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to speak and communicate in Spanish is desired. Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions. Ability to use common sense in carrying out written and oral instructions and solving problems. Ability to use kitchen, trayline and warewashing equipment.
