Position Summary:
MDB Transportation is looking for a reliable and dependable full-time Operations Office/Billing Clerk to join our company.
The candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties, data entry, process documentation, scanning, archiving, make copies, send out certified mail, etc.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Be attentive to detailed processes, procedures and associated data entry and paperwork etc.
- Be prepared to support both operations and payroll department.
- Assist with onboarding drivers by providing training on paperwork and requirements.
- Breakdown of driver’s paperwork for review and process.
- Make copies of driver manifest for payroll department
- Scan and archived documentation with corresponding order number under TMW Software
- Retrieve interchanges from terminal portal as needed.
- File POD, BOL, interchanges, and other documents daily.
- Assist customers with PODs, BOL and interchanges as need it.
- Notify customers of detention accrued by drivers.
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate customer records.
- Capture all revenue by reviewing loads, notes, and emails
- Billing under TMW as well as customers portal.
- Provide customers with required documentation as support for payment.
- Assist the accounting department with remittances for cash application as needed.
- Review customers account in a timely manner to avoid any delinquency.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Assist on other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Assist with phones and various administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Competencies:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of data entry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Experience in drayage trucking is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work over-time during peak season.
Pay:
- The pay depends on experience ($21.00 - $23.00 /hour DOE) and will be discussed during an in-person interview.
