Job Summary: The Cashier is primarily responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Pay for this Role: $14.81 per hour.

Greet customers and provide a positive and welcoming experience.
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services offered.
- Ensure that the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Assist with stocking and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register or point-of-sale system is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of building materials or construction industry is a plus.
