Meadowbrook of Naperville is now hiring a Restorative Director to join our team.
The Restorative Director (RN) will be responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and supervision of the Restorative Nursing Program in the facility. They act as the liaison between formalized therapy and nursing. This position works closely with the restorative aides, nurses and floor CNAs to ensure that the restorative plan of care is being followed.
Responsibilities:
· Develops, implements, directs and evaluated the facility Restorative Nursing
· Meets and consults with the facility interdisciplinary team regularly to develop and maintain restorative care standards.
· Ensures that the Restorative Nursing Program complies with applicable laws, regulations, and national Restorative Nursing standards and requirements.
· Participates in the Admission process.
· Participated in the development and implementation of resident care plans and assessments.
· Participates in Discharge Planning.
· Completes assigned MDS accurately and on time.
· Supervises the Restorative Nurses and Restorative Nursing Assistants.
Requirements:
· Active and unencumbered Illinois RN License required
· Completion of a Rehabilitation/Restorative Nursing course, approved by state of Illinois – Restorative Certified
· Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations
· Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
