Physician Family Medicine

Our client, a large health care provider, has 7 openings for a Physician for the state of California. Residency is not required! If interested, please apply today ! Physician must be California board licensed in Family medicine. Must also hold a California license.

Position Type: Direct Hire

Start Date: 1/30/2025

Pay Rate: $175.00 Per Hour

Shift: 2 HOURS PER WEEK

Location: Remote

Day-To-Day:

• Conduct a monthly Quality Chart reviews of a 10% representative sample or a minimum of two (2) chart reviews, whichever is greater
• Comply with state requirements to meet with assigned NPs to review and discuss chart documentation and quality of care
• Be available by phone or electronic means of communication during the NP’s working hours (40 hours per week)
• Serve as a supervising and collaborating physician in accordance with applicable law and terms and conditions of the NP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement
• Liability insurance will be provided for physicians’ claims arising solely and exclusively from Physician’s delivery of professional services relating to Physician’s Supervision and Collaboration services provided to NP’s
• Chart Reviews will be completed via Telehealth
• Physician will be required to complete 2 hours per assigned NP per week (8 hours a month); however, physician should be available during regular NP work hours/40 hours per week
• Physician will be supporting Care Connections: a strategic partner with the client, committed to engaging and connecting with members to improve their quality of health and lives by utilizing Nurse Practitioners in the right place, at the right time, via telehealth.

Requirements:

• Physician must be CA board licensed in Family medicine.
• Must hold an CA license
• The CP scope of practice should be FM, FM Board Certification or Board Eligible preferred.
