Job Description:

Medical Equipment company in Brewster NY is looking for an entry-level full-time employee. This is an opportunity to learn new skills while on the job. Medi-Products is a Brewster - based company that manufactures and sells battery back-up systems for medical providers throughout the country, filling an expanding need-based on federal requirements. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to help us handle our ever-growing production needs by working with the assembly team.

Work would include but not be limited to; shop assembly work - assembling the product, hands-on working with machinery and tools, organizing the shop, pallet shipments, arranging shipment dispatches. Looking for someone interested in beginning a career and willing to learn the lucrative medical equipment trade.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Related experience in a non-manufacturing environment considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret written and verbal information and follow directions.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic and repetitive assembly operations as required.
  • General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality-focused and willing to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to operate a computer terminal and general software applications.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or a combination of education and experience required.

  • Ability to work with a team to ensure our customers get served with the highest standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
