In this role, you will…
Prepare data & templates for Hospital, Healthcare Facility and Senior Care Division rate reviews using Alteryx, Access and Excel.
Complete required data, templates and rate factor files for rate filings.
Review competitor rate filings and updating the team on competitor initiatives.
Automate actuarial processes using Alteryx and Excel\Visual Basic for Applications.
Support business units with ad hoc data requests and analyses.
We are looking for candidates with…
BS in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant degree.
Successful completion of two Actuarial exams and desire to attain FCAS designation.
Demonstrated analytical/mathematical skills.
Basic Excel & Access skills and a desire to become an expert in these applications.
Good organization and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete all tasks of an assignment.
Curiosity to identify when things don't look right and explore the causes.
Desire to learn and willingness to try new/different approaches.
Active communication – understands when issues should be raised and keeps management involved/updated.
