Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Driver Helper to join our customer's team at a leading scaffolding company. In this role, you’ll assist Drivers with the safe and efficient transport, loading, and unloading of scaffolding materials at various job sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a physically active role and values teamwork and safety on construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with navigation and ensure timely delivery of scaffolding materials to construction sites.
- Load and unload scaffolding materials, ensuring items are handled carefully to avoid damage.
- Prepare materials for loading and assist with securing loads as per company safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and site teams to ensure all materials are delivered according to job specifications.
- Help organize and maintain inventory of materials on the truck, ensuring they are easily accessible for delivery and offloading.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with any on-site setup as required, ensuring scaffolding materials are ready for installation teams.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleanup duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a driver helper or similar role.
- CLEAN MVR Record, required.
- Valid Driver's License, required.
- Ability to lift heavy items, including scaffolding components.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines at all times.
- FULL PPE, including steel-toed boots.
This is a Temp to Hire position.
A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.
