MEMCO is hiring Drywall Helpers in Atlanta, GA!!
- Pay:$18-20/hr based on prior construction experience
- Benefits: Limited Health Care Plan available after 30 days of employment
- Shift: 7-5pm; Monday-Friday
Job Overview:
As a Drywall Helper, you’ll assist in the preparation, installation, and finishing of drywall for residential and commercial projects. Your role is essential in supporting the team to complete projects efficiently and with high-quality results. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your skills in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall for walls and ceilings
- Support installation of drywall panels to frameworks
- Prepare surfaces for taping, sanding, and finishing
- Transport materials and tools to job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions from lead drywallers to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and assist with drywall installation
- Basic understanding of construction tools and materials (experience is a plus)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Must pass a drug test
- At least 18 years old.
Safety:
- Steel-toe boots and full PPE (vest, gloves, glasses, hardhat) are required.
