MEMCO is hiring for Commercial Scaffold Builders in North Charleston, SC!!
- Schedule: Mon - Fri 7am - 5pm; OT available
- Pay: $20- $24/hr; based on experience
As a Commercial Scaffold Builder, you'll play a vital role in constructing and maintaining safe work environments on various construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Scaffold Assembly and Dismantling: Build and take down scaffolds according to blueprints and safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards, conduct inspections, and mitigate risks.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with construction teams to ensure efficient project completion.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect scaffold components and report any issues.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work, inspections, and maintenance.
What you need:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Own safety harness
- Scaffold building experience
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Blueprint reading skills
- Attention to detail and safety commitment
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications (preferred)
- Willingness to travel to multiple job sites.
A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position
