Meraki Talent is working with a leading Multi-Strat Investment Firm who are looking to recruit an Investor Relations, Associate / VP for their New York City office. The firm has grown from strength to strength over the last 10 years, with >$4bn AUM. The firm invests in IT and communications infrastructure. The firm mainly focuses on data centers, network/fiber, and wireless infrastructure, providing growth equity, preferred equity, and structured debt investments globally.
Job Description:
This newly created role will report directly to the Head of IR. You will liaise closely with the Head of IR / BD and another associate by supporting the business on all aspects of outreach including marketing materials, pitch decks, investor queries and reporting, gaining more client facing experience in the near future. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to enhance their IR career path, by working in a leading shop and with one of the best in-house fundraisers in the industry. The team are in the office 4 days a week.
Experience:
My client is focused on an individual with a strong technical IB background as well as having worked in PE / Credit or Infrastructure. Investor Relations experience preferred but not essential. An individual with a good understanding of the alternatives, passion for the industry, a willingness to learn and a strong team player, will thrive here.
The ideal candidate would have the following background:
- Experience in Investor Relations or a Placement Agent.
- Background in Investment Banking (M&A, Coverage,Leveraged Finance or Industrials,)
- Ideally, have a strong educational background, including professional qualifications or equivalent
