Duties And Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure: Assist with monitoring and maintaining the local area network (LAN) and network equipment to ensure connectivity and reliability.
- End-User Support: Provide technical assistance and support to bank employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to help desk tickets and resolve IT problems promptly.
- Computer Setup and Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals for new and existing staff members.
- Software Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including operating systems, productivity applications, and specialized banking software.
- Security Management: Collaborate with the IT team to implement and enforce security protocols and best practices. Monitor systems for security breaches and assist with cybersecurity measures.
- Data Backups and Recovery: Assist in regular data backups and ensure data recovery procedures are tested and functional.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and peripherals.
- User Training: Assist in providing basic IT training to bank employees to enhance their technical skills and awareness of security protocols.
- Technology Upgrades: Participate in IT projects, such as hardware upgrades, software installations, and system migrations.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of IT-related activities, including support requests, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant associate or bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. Needs networking cabling experience, cisco routing and switching devices, Meraki experience preferred. Must have experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.

- Must have a valid driver license and current car insurance.
- Requires occasional traveling to offsite locations and other branches.
- Occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature.
- Occasional bending, reaching, frequent sitting, standing, twisting, and l walking, 20% of the time.
- The employee is frequently required to operate a computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, and/or other office equipment.
- The employee frequently exchanges information with others and must be able to do so in an effective manner. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and across a variety of audiences.
- The employee may frequently reach for files, books, computers, and comparable items in high or low places and must have the ability to bend, stoop, or reach.
- The typical schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Overtime or extended hours may be occasionally required, which will be compensated.
- This position could allow some remote work at the discretion of the manager.
