RN Medical/Surgical - Sioux City, IA

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical/Surgical department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a diverse skill set to provide comprehensive medical services.

Duties

• Monitor and record vital signs of patients
• Provide care for patients requiring neonatal ventilator support
• Assist in critical care transport when necessary
• Offer support and treatment for patients with behavioral health needs
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
• Collaborate with specialists in ophthalmology for patient care
• Deliver specialized care in a Level II Trauma Center setting
• Perform catheter care as needed

Requirements

• Valid nursing license (RN)
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Proficiency in critical care practices
• Ability to handle diverse patient needs and conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Certification or training in neonatal ventilator support is a plus

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,300.00 per week
