YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinatingand assisting in RFP's
- Collectingwater samples for lab analysis
- Performon-site field testing for dissolved gasses and pH
- Performingbacteria tests
- Collectingsample, lab analysis, reporting results
- Performingmembrane filter test (Millipore test) on produced waters
- Productscreening
- Writingtechnical reports
- Treatingbad oil - must be able to understand and troubleshoot systems
- Operatestandard production chemistry and performance lab equipment
- Developan understanding of the Coastal Chemical product line and product performance
- Logginglab samples in and out and reporting lab results to the Account Managers
- QCtesting and statistical analyses of results
- Continuallyworking to achieve higher efficiencies and improving processes
- AssistingLaboratory Technicians in sample preparation and testing
- Maintainingretain waste management
- Knowledgeof Coastal Chemical products, services and operational policies andprocedures.
- The Tech Service Group may be required to interface withthe customer.The job may require beingmore than 100 miles away from Midland.Thejob may require solitary work on field projects. The job may require late hours.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering, Chemistry or Science
- 1 yearoil and gas chemical experience
- Knowledgeof production systems, field sampling and testing
- Strongcomputer skills (Excel and/or other reporting packages)
- Highlevel of motivation, good interpersonal skills, dependability, goodorganizational skills, the ability to work with limited supervision and awillingness to learn
