Jamba - Shift Lead

Essential Job Functions:

• Overseeing both outlets in absence of manager

• Voids and Comps for fellow associates

• Dealing with guest complaints and compliments

• Communicating with management on guest and employee issues

• Stepping in and helping employees when busy

• Employ reading and math skills in order to follow specifications for service of food and beverage items and to make proper and accurate cash transactions.

• Keep all refrigeration, storage, and snack bar equipment as well as tables, chairs and working areas in clean, working condition in compliance with all regulations.

• Stock and rotate all food and beverage products.

• Lift materials weighing from 1 – 20 pounds, up to 4 feet in height (or counter height), and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds at a height of 4 feet, or move or push goods on a hand cart weighing up to 200 pounds. Help should be sought for lifting items above 50 pounds.

• Comply with hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of Hotel facilities.

• Grasp, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, walk/stand for duration of shift, walking up to 2 miles during an 8-hour shift.

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the Hotel.

Education:

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses / Certificates:

Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification.
