What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cdl driver position at Metalworks Inc.?
Summary : The CDL Class A Driver and Warehouse position is responsible for safely transporting products to and from Metalworks facilities and regional locations using various types of delivery vehicles.
Essential Duties : Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Transport products between Metalworks facilities as well as to and from vendors using tractor trailers (53'), flatbed trailers, and pickup trucks.
- Assist in prepping and tagging of products at either facility.
- Deliver products to customers in a polite and professional manner with the understanding that you are the face that is representing Metalworks during those times.
- Verify part numbers and counts on packing lists as it is being unloaded by customer to ensure document accuracy and quality.
Minimum Qualifications :
- At least two years of CDL Class A experience. License must be current.
- 2 years of forklift experience. Standing forklift experience preferred.
