MetaPhase Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst with 3 years of experience to join our Federal consulting practice supporting business analysis, requirements gathering and synthesis, data analysis, and process improvement. A successful candidate will be ready to work in a collaborative environment with a team while simultaneously being self-driven and managing day-to-day tasks with varying degrees of direction from leadership.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• At least 3 years of work experience
• At least 2 years of work experience in management consulting and/or technology transformation efforts
• At least 1 year of work experience in government-related roles (e.g., in government, government contracting, grant writing, etc.)
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized
• High level of communication – both verbally and written – skills
• Required software experience: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred software experience: Power BI or Tableau, SQL, Adobe
• US Citizenship required

Essential Responsibilities

• Performing typical business analytic functions including, but not limited to, requirements gathering and synthesis, workflow and business process analysis, change management, and program management support
• Creating communications and presentations, facilitating meetings, tracking decisions/issues/risks, and supporting the team and senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
• Translating strategy into specific business initiatives and recommendations
• Developing and using performance metrics to measure, evaluate, and enhance program and client success through program evaluation and performance management techniques
• Understanding the client personalities, environment, and overall project scope in relation to overall mission and organization goals
• Supporting and directly developing project deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy
• Organizing and using knowledge management tools effectively to support team and client needs
• Managing both client and company relationships and responsibilities such as training and compliance activities

Greater Washington, DC area (with possible remote flexibility)

Travel

N/A (if any required, less than 5%)

Education Level

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Government (e.g., Political Science or Public Policy), Business, Technology, or related fields.
• Master’s degree (MA/MS/MPA/MBA) preferred, but not required.

Clearance Level

• None; U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Ability to obtain and hold an active Public Trust clearance at a US Government Agency is preferred, but not required
