Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for scheduling, dispatching service technicians, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the service team. The ideal candidate excels in multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining a high level of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians based on customer needs, priority, and technician availability.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the service team, providing timely updates on job status.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and customer interactions in the system.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate as necessary.
- Assist in coordinating parts and supplies for service calls to ensure technicians have what they need.
- Support the service department with administrative tasks, including generating reports and maintaining documentation.
- Proactively communicate with customers to follow up on completed jobs, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher, service coordinator, or in a similar administrative/customer service role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems in real time.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications are a plus).
