What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy?

MetroEHS is looking for caring and professional individuals to work as behavior technicians, helping children diagnosed with autism reach their goals. We strive to reveal the SUPER in every child and this position is vital to their success.
As a behavior technician, you are responsible for carrying out treatment plans under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This involves playing and interacting with our kiddos one-on-one to achieve goals and milestone achievements. At MetroEHS, we provide our behavior technicians with the tools and in-person training needed to succeed in this exciting role. We encourage all of our behavior technicians to become a registered behavior technician within 90 days of employment. We provide you with the tools and training to pass the RBT certification, and upon completion of this certification, you will receive a $2 raise!

About MetroEHS:
MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy provides services at our therapy centers across the Metro Detroit area as well as staffing services for Special Education and Healthcare facilities across the state. Our unique strategy to assist others involves many therapy disciplines in one location, creating ease for caregivers of children that may need this approach to succeed. Our services include: ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy & Speech Therapy. Affordable screenings for Speech-Language development, fine & gross motor development, sensory impairment and autism are also offered.
Hours:
Most Behavior Technicians begin their career working part-time, but if you are interested in a full-time position, that may be available dependent on your availability and the clinic's needs. We are currently in the process of transitioning to a blocked schedule to maximize the hours our behavior techs work, and are seeking candidates with availability to work the following hours:
- 8am-12:30pm
- 8am-4:30pm
- 12:30pm-4:30pm
- 4:00pm-7:30pm
At MetroEHS, 30 hours per week is considered full-time employment and qualifies you for the following:

Pay Rate:
- $16-$20 per hour commensurate with education and RBT experience

- Psychology
- Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy
- Healthcare (Nursing, Caretaker, etc)
- Education
- Social Work
