What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant position at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy?
MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is currently seeking a pediatric physical therapy assistant (PTA), who would work alongside physical therapists treating physically impaired children. As a pediatric physical therapy assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities include working with patients on specific types of functional training to improve their coordination and balance, modifying toys and equipment to increase independence, documenting the progress of the patients, and discussing the current treatment options and long-term goals with the patient’s parents or guardians. Some administrative duties will also be expected of this role until the case load has been fully established.

Our services include ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy & Speech Therapy. Qualifications:
- Two-year PTA associate degree program
- PTA licensure issued by the state of Michigan
Pay Rate:
- $23-$31/hour dependent on experience

- Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm, with a one-hour lunch break
