The Position for Groundskeeper:
The duties of the grounds keeper include:
- Ensures the grounds and common areas of the property are clean at all times.
- Picks up trash and debris in common area, pool, and recreation areas.
- Assists Maintenance with various tasks. Reports all maintenance repairs needed to the supervisor.
- Sweeps and cleans parking lot on daily basis.
- Picks up trash from grounds daily.
- Uses Hose to clean front entry walks on a regular scheduled basis and as needed.
- Changes all light bulbs in hallways and common areas as needed.
- Assists other staff with moving and installation of furniture and equipment.
- Assists with snow removal as needed.
- Sets a good example for residents. Maintains courteous and helpful attitude with residents.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
The Candidate
- High School diploma or equivalent OR proven ability to read labels, instructions, etc.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
- Ability to be well organized and flexible.
- Must have some ability related to facility maintenance, changing bulbs, sweeping.
- May need to transport self between properties.
- Background check is required.
