MGA Research Corporation is a world leader in the automotive and aerospace testing industries. As an independent, confidential, third-party organization, we provide unbiased testing services for our customers, which include major vehicle OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, NHTSA, and aircraft manufacturers.
We are seeking a self-starter to fill an entry level First Shift Technician at our expanding Greer, SC location.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· General test setup
· Instrumenting test devices per the customer’s request
· Documenting tests through procedures, checklists, measurements and photographs
· Maintains confidentiality of test procedures, test results, and clients
· Organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure all deadlines are met
· Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools
This is an entry-level position. MGA is looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to be part of a team. Applicants must have a willingness to learn and be comfortable in a hands-on environment.
Additional skills that could prove useful:
· Experience in automotive and industrial mechanics
· Knowledge of hand tools as well as fabrication methods
· Knowledge of measurement tools and data entry
· Willingness to think outside the box to improve daily processes
· A teamwork and company-first mentality
· Applicant MUST have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
