In this position We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer who is a team player with strong collaboration skills to join our IT team. This individual will be hands on in designing, building, maintaining, and operating our global network and IT infrastructure, delivering optimal performance, reliability, and security to support the firm’s goals and growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy network infrastructure across WAN, LAN, wireless and remote environments, ensuring it meets the company's needs for performance, reliability, and security.
- Monitor network performance, conduct regular health checks, and optimize network operations to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement robust network security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry regulations including firewall configuration and management.
- Manage / monitor network operations ticketing queue for service requests to resolve network issues and Implementation tasks.
- Manage network documentation : maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure transparency and facilitate troubleshooting.
- Perform on-site and remote technical support and system administration of various networks, servers, and systems
- Troubleshoot network issues : quickly identify and resolve network issues escalated from lower tiers of support to maintain optimal network performance
- Collaborate with IT and business teams : work closely with other IT and business teams to align network infrastructure with business goals and support various projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to technical strategy, policies and procedures.
